Download Notes: The EXE programs above will install PhotoAdvent and its related files. They come WITHOUT the file "VBRUN300.DLL" which is necessary to run PhotoAdvent. If you don't already have "VBRUN300.DLL", you will need to download it in order to run PhotoAdvent.

"VBRUN300.DLL" is available freely from our web site and also from various on-line services such as AOL. If you are not sure whether or not you already have "VBRUN300.DLL", try to run PhotoAdvent. You'll be told if you need the file.
* PhotoAdvent 2.0 for Windows 2000 does not have the optional "Black Backdrop" feature which is mentioned in the help documentation. PhotoAdvent 2.0 has not been extensively tested on Windows 2000/NT.
**PhotoAdvent appears to work with Windows XP with some limitations:

You can only import using the "Import pictures from folder" option. The "Edit Imports" feature will crash PhotoAdvent.

The "Help" menu item also seems to crash PhotoAdvent. Use the external HMTL help files instead.

Other than that, it seems to run just fine. However, please remember that this is unsupported freeware. No guarantees.

Download Notes: The Macintosh file has been compressed into a self-extracting archive and then binhexed. (Converted so that its file format does not get damaged in downloading.)
To open the Macintosh version, you will need a utility (such as StuffIt Expander) which can de-binhex files. Some browsers take care of this automatically, as does software for some on-line services . See the links at the bottom of this page, however, if you need to download this software.
Once the file has been de-binhexed, you will be able to double-click on the self-extracting archive to expand PhotoAdvent and the other included files.

System Requirements for Macintosh:

System:  System 7.0 or later (Runs in Classic on OS X)
Processor:  68030 or better (PowerPC or better strongly recommended.)
Memory:   8 Mb RAM
Monitor:   640x480, 256 colors (Thousands of colors strongly recommended.)
